VINTAGE WARSAW POLAND 925 STERLING SILVER BROOCH & EARRING SET
Presenting a beautifully designed and expertly hand crafted sterling silver Set produced in Warsaw, Poland circa Early 1950's
set was made by ORNO (their partial hallmark - RO - is clearly
visible). ORNO, an artists’ cooperative that was at the forefront of Polish modernist jewelry design, was created
in 1948 in Warsaw
The exquisite Art Nouveau design, with organic flowing lines, is very similar to earlier Scandinavian pieces for which this piece could easily be mistaken. The design and quality of craftsmanship is certainly comparable.
This is an exceptional example and beautifully Made by a Modernist Artist
The silver  is beautifully hallmarked with a woman's head wearing a kerchief, along the the letter "W" indicating it was produced in Warsaw, Poland, and "925" indicating this piece is crafted of sterling grade silver. second mark is hard to make out
This beautifully designed piece is an absolute delight to wear. The exceptionally attractive design and quality of craftsmanship ensure this timeless piece will never go out of style.
