Presented is a beautiful, 14 and 18 karat yellow gold and coral jewelry set. This is an American made suite and the pieces were made around the mid to late 1900s. The earrings were made around the 1970s, while the necklace was made around the 1950s or 60s. This set includes a pair of 18k gold clip on earrings a matching 14k gold choker style necklace. The earrings are set with a coral cabochon with weaved, 14 karat gold settings/mountings. The choker style necklace is comprised of individually knotted coral beads that are between 15.5 and 17.5 millimeters in size with a slight graduation of size towards the center and the decorative clasp has a safety latch for added security. A professional jeweler can easily add posts to the earrings to accommodate pierced ears.
The clasp of the necklace is marked 14K. The earrings are marked 18K. All gold portions have been tested and are guaranteed.
This set is in excellent overall condition.
Each earring measures 1 inch in diameter and the necklace measures 17 1/2 inches long.
The necklace weighs 150 grams and the earrings weigh 23 grams.
