    Description

    An excellent example of a Sampson Smith Old Royal Bone China tea cup and saucer.  This set is marked with pattern #2666 and an artist mark on bottom of the cup.  This was a popular pattern with yellow and pink flowers.  The cup is 3 3/8 inches diameter at the top X 3 inches tall and the saucer is 5 7/16 inches diameter X approx 3/4 inches deep.  The Back Stamp on this set was used from1945 till 1963.  Sampson Smith was made at the Wetley Works and was also called Wetley China.  The company became part of Alfred Clough Group in 1954 and close up operations in 1963.  Buy Happy!
