ANTIQUE HENRI GAUTIER VIRTUOSO LYONS HEALY CORNET SHEPARDS CROOK / A OR B FLAT

Vintage Henri Gautier Virtuoso cornet with shepards crook. This instrument comes with extra slides . I think ? they are to play in A or B flat. This was a trade name instrument made by Lyon and Healy of Chicago as far as my research shows.  The serial number is 11410. Comes with two mouth pieces and easy play and a ideal. Case is musty smelling and will need attention. Slides and valves move . Valves look like they have been recorked recently with new felt. The bell of the cornet has a bend as shown. The back where shepard crook is has couple of dents. Lots of good engraving on the bell.  This cornet will need completely gone over so I am call it for restoration. It will need cleaned and lubed.  SOLD AS IS ASK QUESTIONS.  Will be packed properly to ship.
